Although I did test with Wirecast 6 on a different Mac (and the same prob occurred), my main workstation is as follows: Wirecast 7.1.0 (28647) Mac Pro (late 2013), 3 GHz 8-core Intel Xeon E5, 64GB memory. I am restricted to using YouTube, so cannot test with another platform. I have also tried streaming to YouTube by entering RMTP details. Wirecast Pro is the top of the line Wirecast offering. Designed with the most dedicated streamers in mind, Pro has all the features of Studio plus expanded inputs and audio capabilities, 7 simultaneous Wirecast Rendezvous guests, 3D virtual sets, PTZ camera control and much more.
We are using Wirecast 7.1 and I am thinking of scrapping my present setup and starting from scratch with my shots. Too much time on my hands. :-)
I was having an issue with my audio cutting out once in awhile and couldn't find a culprit so thought I would just try a new setup. I tried turning off feedback detection but I still got some audio drops. The audio was still showing in the shots as the sound bars we moving just no sound going out through the output on Intensity Pro 3. The drop outs would last about 10 seconds. Maybe the audio was coming in too loud and it cut something out. Free download screenshot for mac. I don't know.
What do you think of these ideas ?
I will put scoreboard and replay template on layer 1. The scoreboard goes here so it can be updated easily and not be in 10 different clips.
Replays will be saved to layer 2. I do capture audio in the replays but we replay them at 0.5x speed so the audio doesn't play during the replay so the play by play guy can describe the replay. We later export the replay clips in a playlist at normal speed so the audio is there for the hi-light package.
Intensity pro 1 with main camera and a usb grabber with the clock in the main camera shot on layer 3. This shot will get duplicated for the different hockey penalty situations. With different graphics turned on and off.
The play by play and rink noise audio come in on the computers audio in and is on layer 4. I was going to bring the audio in on the HDMI from the Sony NX3 but I can't get the sound to come out of the camera on the HDMI connection. I have tried different cables and hooked it up to different tvs and nothing. I can see the audio bars moving and can monitor the sound on the camera's headphone jack but it won't go out the HDMI cable. I gave up on that for now.
Do you see anything in this layering setup that could be improved.
